Destiny Williams

Director of Youth & Families
Destiny has served as the Director of Youth and Families at McDonough Presbyterian Church since May 2009. Destiny is also serving as the Presbytery of Greater Atlanta’s Moderator.  Previously, Destiny served as Counselor, Office staff and Assistant Program Director at Calvin Center during High School and College.

Destiny is a cradle Presbyterian; growing up at College Park Presbyterian Church and Summit of South Fayette Presbyterian. She grew up in Peachtree City, GA with her parents and three younger siblings. Destiny graduated from Georgia State University with a Bachelors in Religious Studies and Philosophy.

A couple of interesting facts about Destiny:

• She loves attending concerts
• She had perfect attendance every year in school from Kindergarten to 12th grade (She even gave up a chance to stay at the white house during Ronald Regan’s presidency because she didn’t want to be counted absent)
• She was the first youth elder at her home church and she is the youngest moderator of our presbytery
